El Vacio Entre el Todo y la Nada

Yocandra vuelve al Par�s de sus sue�os y se instala en el barrio de Marais, en un edificio cuyos inquilinos, una mezcla folklorica y bullanguera de artistas, pintores, bailarines, gentes solitarias o familias raras y at�picas, formaran parte de su nuevo entorno cotidiano, all� encontrar� nuevas amistades, se reencontrar� con su madre, conocer� la vida de los disidentes cubanos en el exilio, el matrimonio, la traici�n de informadores y esp�as del r�gimen castrista el reencuentro con el amor de su vida y all� tambi�n sufrir� los altibajos emocionales que produce el exilio forzado, la sensaci�n de perdida constante, el vac�o, la inadaptabilidad, el desarraigo y la sensaci�n de no pertenecer a ning�n lugar en especifico. Pero la realidad dista mucho de la ficci�n y para Yocandra tantas emociones encontradas, cruzadas y obligadas a vivirlas, a disfrutarlas o a sufrirlas la llevar�n a un punto donde no podr� diferenciar si vive el todo o la nada cotidiana de su vida.
Otra magnifica novela donde la autora con su inconfundible estilo pasa de un lenguaje castizo y refinado a la vulgaridad mas prosaica en una sola frase, sazonada con cubanismos y momentos tragic�micos que usando a la protagonista principal de la obra y los secundarios como tel�n de fondo convierte la obra en una denuncia al sistema castrista totalitario de la isla y de las repercusiones f�sicas, mentales y emocionales de aquellos que se han podido librar de la tiran�a en cuerpo pero que en cierta parte de sus subconscientes siguen atados a los temores, dudas e incertidumbres que la represi�n, el temor y el miedo sembr� para siempre en sus mentes impidi�ndoles sentirse libres y realizados en el exilio.
